Privacy Policy

Tinted (“we”, “our”), operated by Everline, respects your privacy. This policy describes how the Tinted iOS app and gettinted.app handle information.

Face data

What we mean by “face data.” Tinted is a hair try-on app. When you choose a photo from your camera or library, that image often includes your face. The app does not run on-device face detection or facial landmark analysis in the current version. We do not collect Face ID data, face prints for identity recognition, or a separate “face scan” file stored on our servers.

When you tap Transform. The selfie you selected (which includes your face) is transmitted over HTTPS to our API (hosted on Hostinger) solely to perform the AI hair color or hairstyle preview you requested. Our API forwards that image to our AI subprocessors (fal.ai, including image models accessed through that service) only to generate your result. We do not sell face data or photos, use them for advertising, or use them to train our own public models.

Sharing with third parties. Face-containing photos are shared only with subprocessors that run the generation you request (principally fal.ai). We do not share face data with data brokers, ad networks, or social platforms. Other providers listed under Service providers (RevenueCat, Firebase, Apple sign-in, etc.) do not receive your selfies for try-on.

Storage. Your original selfie remains on your device under your control. Generated previews you save appear in the in-app Library and are stored locally on your device (and in Photos if you export). Our servers store job metadata (such as job status and result image URLs returned by the AI provider) to complete the request; we do not maintain a server-side gallery of user selfies. Short-term processing on AI provider infrastructure is governed by those providers’ policies.

Retention and deletion. Local Library items remain until you delete them in the app or remove the app. You can delete individual saved results in the Gallery. To request deletion of account-related server data, email support@gettinted.app.

Photos & AI try-on

When you tap Transform, the selfie you chose is sent to our servers so we can generate a hair color or hairstyle preview. We forward that image to our AI image provider (fal.ai) only to complete the look you requested. We do not sell your photos, use them for advertising, or train public models on them. Saved results in the in-app Library stay on your device unless you save or share them yourself.

Account

If you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, we store your name, email, sign-in provider, and an account identifier so we can restore your session, credits, and purchases. Password reset codes are emailed when that feature is enabled.

Purchases & credits

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We and RevenueCat receive purchase tokens and entitlement status so we can grant the correct weekly or monthly credit pool. We do not see your full card number.

Analytics & crash reports

We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand feature use and fix crashes (for example, that a transform started or failed). These events are not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Website

gettinted.app is a static marketing site. If you join the email list, the address you submit is used only to send Tinted updates. You can unsubscribe by replying to those emails.

Service providers

Retention

Account and entitlement records are kept while your account is active. AI try-on jobs are processed to return your result; we do not operate a user-facing server gallery of selfies. Job records may include status and result URLs, not your original upload. You can email us to request account deletion.

Children

Tinted is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
